A Wet Camping Weekend

We went camping this past weekend at Lake Elmo Park Reserve. Mom was excited for the kids to go tent camping so we left the trailer at home. The weekend was full of rain, rain, and more rain. We had a dry first night and morning. I'd like to call the Pergandes die hards, but we gave in around 7:00 PM on Saturday night (after a tent full of water and non-stop rain for 8 hours) and called it a weekend and headed home early. We still had a blast with our friends the Treschuks, who "camped" in our basement on Saturday night.

For the last 3 years, we've gone to the Wisconsin Dells with our good friends the Haddons and the Rizzos. This was another great trip for the kids and for the adults. Great weather, fun water parks, and an Original Duck ride! Here are some excerpts from the trip.

Kohls Family Reunion in MN

It's been 7 years since our last Kohls reunion. The crew got together at Bay Colony Inn near Brainerd Lakes area in MN. Great weekend with fun boating, lots of swimming, card tournaments (which Great Granny won), and bonfires. Here are are a couple of excperts from our trip.
