Homecoming 2018

Can't believe we have two high schoolers now. Was very fun to see these two kids get all dressed up. Both had a great night with friends. And we were able to sneak in a couple of pics with the parents!

Fall Time is Here

Kids are back in school, which means high school football games, soccer team pasta dinners and pets gone wild. Here are a couple of snapshots from September....

Domino has officially become an outdoor cat and is enjoying all the best things of outdoors including climbing trees and catching mice and birds.

Canyon and his "squad" before the first home football game.

Minnesota State Fair 2018

The Minnesota State Fair is one Mom's favorite cultural activities of the year. This year, she went three times: once with Presley, once with Canyon and once with the entire family. The fair never disappoints, with great food, fun drinks, crazy rides, fun picture opportunities, great music and shows, unique shopping, intriguing people watching, adorable farm animals and nightly fireworks.

Opening day of the fair, Mom and Presley went to the fair with pals, Kelly and Elle, to see Niall Horan in the Grandstand. We also took part in favorite fair traditions like Martha's Sweet Cookies and Mousetrap Cheese Curds. The show was awesome and we stayed until the very end, enjoying late night rides and barely make the last bus of the night.

Second trip to the fair was the annual mom/son tradition with the Chicks with Wicks. This day, the boys ended their trip early and the moms stayed until the end with new experiences on the trolley and sampling of many of the new drinks like Mini Donut Beer.

Third trip was the closing day of the fair. Mom, Dad, Canyon and Presley enjoyed a great day of food, the giant slide and fun exploration. Another great family tradition!

Nashville Wedding Weekend

Mom and Dad got a nice getaway weekend to Nashville to celebrate the marriage of Ron's good friend and colleagues's daughter. Greg Kestler's daughter, Gwen, married Jack on 8/25/18. It was Mom's first trip to Nashville and we tried to get the "Nashville" experience. We stayed downtown and enjoy a super fun weekend enjoying great Tennessee food, the Nashville strip with music 24 hours a day and a super fun wedding. Can't wait until the next time we can go back!
