Spring Break 2019 - Fort Myers Beach and Clearwater Beach

Canyon had to head to Florida with his baseball team for spring break. Last year he felt like he missed spring break. This year, we decided to pick him up (along with some of this teammates) at the end of the week so he could have a couple of days of fun in the sun. We started the week in Fort Myers Beach and Presley brought a friend. We ended the week in Clearwater Beach with Canyon's pals and family. It was a pretty chilling week and also Mom's first official "site visits" as a travel advisor. Not to mention it was awesome to escape the cold in Minnesota.

Nothing better than sunsets on the beach. First sunset on Fort Myer's Beach...

Riding to/from dinner and to/from the grocery store. These are comfy bikes!

Parasailing in Clearwater Beach...

The boys enjoying paddle board on the beach. I think they may have gotten up to 365 hits!

The whole crew in Clearwater Beach...

Sunset with my "cool" kid...

Springtime Highlights

Springtime is busy time in Minnesota. Kids are transitioning from winter sports to spring sports, school is in full swing, and the weather is still yucky. However, we still have some fun highlights for the family blog....

Presley joined Mom and her book club to see Michelle Obama live. I have always been a fan of Michelle but she truly knocked it out of the park and I was excited to share this special experience with Presley.

Presley started playing badminton with the high school. She started the season with one of her hockey teammates playing doubles. But now she is playing both singles and doubles. Who knew how competitive badminton could be and how much fun it is to watch. It's a nice change of pace after the hockey season (plus the gym is always warm :).

Uh oh.... Could this be happening. Presley received her drivers permit and we are starting our practice on the roads. Watch out everyone!

Canyon has started baseball and headed off to Florida with his team for spring training. He always loves taking pictures for Mom!
