Seattle Fun Time

Although we have been going to Beach Camp in Washington for three years straight, we rarely spend time in the great town of Seattle. This year, the Pergandes and Grandma Harriet enjoyed some great time in the city on our last day in town. Wonderful time with Grandma Harriet and wonderful day in the city.

Subdued String Band Jamboree

Before heading back to beach camp, Ron and Trisha stopped by a blue grass festival enroute to Edmonds. This was one of the most unique music experiences we have ever seen. The festival includes 4 days of music, camping, family activities, river swimming, circus acts, campsite contests, and musician workshops. We took in a small piece of the festival but enjoyed some great music and great acts in the sun.

Mt. Baker and Mt. Shuksan Are Impressive

After our hike up Helitrope Ridge, we enjoyed a beautiful drive up to Artist point to take in sweeping views of Mount Baker and Mount Shuksan (rumored to be the most photopgraphed peak in the world)

Beach Camp 2016 with Ocean Annie was another amazing week and did not disappoint for the kids and for Mom and Dad. Each year is Presley's "best year yet". Fun week. Thank you Auntie Annie for sharing this amazing place with us. Here are some pics from this year's adventure

Our trip started with a delay when Delta was grounded due to a worldwide computer problem... Luckily our flight was not cancelled (only delayed 6 hours)

The kids love cliff jumping...

Ice Cougars Win International Cup

Presley's summer hockey team played at the U12 Tier 2 level of the International Cup the first weekend of August with the U12 Ice Cougars. This is a new team for Presley this year. She and her teammates love their coach AJ. Presley's team won the tournament for her level and Presley was named tournament MVP. Super cool honor and fun weekend with a great group of girls.

Canyon Plays in 14AAA August Classic

Canyon was selected to play in the 14AAA August classic along with 3 other teammates. The August Classic brings together top players from the teams around the state for a fun end of season tournament. Eden Prairie played along side Hopkins, Edina, and Chaska/Chan. Their team won the tournament. It was a super fun weekend where all the boys get to know each other. We were also fortunate to have an awesome photographer parent on our team that took amazing pics of each of the boys. Here are a couple of the weekend highlights.
