Ron had surgery on January 27th in Rochester. Auntie Annie and Uncle Terry came to Minnesota to help us that weekend because Canyon had hockey games in Grand Rapids and Cloquet that weekend. We arrived at the hospital at 5:30 on a snowy morning for his surgery. Of course, Ron had to bring his guitar to the hospital. Surgery was a success and Ron was able to leave the hospital after two days. During his stay, he enjoyed nice visits with family, with cousins Tim and Tara, friend and native Rochester gal Allison Shultz, and CEMBA pals Val and Dobie. Overall, it was a great experience where Ron made a great impression on the doctors and staff of the Mayo Clinic.
